g1t already counts every git operation itself (git_operations, artifacts_meters). The question of what Cloudflare bills goes to Cloudflare in the open letter (docs.g1t.sh/about/open-letter-to-cloudflare) and the entry video. scripts/ops/gitstore-usage.mjs compares the two whenever it is needed.
[Launch] Confirm what Cloudflare Artifacts bills as an operation #106
Blocker before 2026-10-14.
Pricing names create, push, pull and clone; metrics list create, fork, push, pull, delete. At 3,000 workspaces the bill is about $1.8k/month if only git data operations count, about $31k if every binding call does.
- Run
scripts/ops/gitstore-usage.mjs(needs a token with Account Analytics Read) and compare Cloudflare's event counts with ourgit_operationstable - Get the definition in writing from Cloudflare (the questions are in #26)
- Make
services/repos/src/git_ops.rscount exactly what Cloudflare counts (in progress: counting table + never billing cached refs)
