Built and live (docs/ARTIFACTS.md, R6): fresh clones' packs are kept in R2 (g1t-git-packs, 7-day lifecycle) by repository, refs version and request. Measured on real Artifacts: hello depth-1 2.7 s miss to 0.54 s hit; full g1t 7.2 s to 2.0 s, fsck clean. Hits are not operations and are served before the free cap.
[Scale] Cache full-clone packs in R2 #112
Every full clone makes Artifacts build the pack again (~2 s before the first byte for flagon-io/g1t). Cache packs in R2 keyed by repo, refs_version and request hash. Agents clone the same repos repeatedly.
