Built in repos (docs/ARTIFACTS.md, R10): divergence works out the target's side once per target head (coalesce.rs, 60 s) and logs by hash, which are cached.

Mergeability is the largest projected Artifacts hot spot (~42% of calls): up to 100 open PRs re-checked each time the target moves. Compute once per new target head, log by hash, cache readCommit.
