On Windows it was marked Not Responding a second or two after starting, about one launch in two, and Windows closed it, which looked like a crash. The runner's thread held the tray's runner rows locked while changing their text, which off the main thread waits for the main thread; the main thread meanwhile, answering the site's runner_offer, waited for the same lock. The tray's rows now change on the main thread, handed over without waiting, and the Restart and Developer tools rows are copied out of their locks before they change.16c0990History
