syntaqxAnyone can sign up for g1t: with an email address and a password, or with GitHub, and no invite. The switch that made registration invite-only is gone rather than flipped, so it cannot be turned back on by a setting: identity's REGISTRATION_MODE, INVITES_PER_USER, INVITE_STAFF_WORKSPACES and WAITLIST_NOTIFY_EMAIL vars, the same in the self-hosted compose file and configs, RegistrationMode in both contracts, and the registration call the site asked once a minute.
