syntaqxThe API and MCP server coordinate work: start_session, update_session (an empty body is a heartbeat), end_session, get_session, list_sessions and record_session_entries at /repos/{owner}/{name}/sessions, as the new session tool's start, update, end, get, list and record; claim_issue, release_claim, hand_off_issue and get_work at /repos/{owner}/{name}/issues/{number}/claim, /release, /handoff and /work, and list_claims at /repos/{owner}/{name}/claims, as the issue tool's claim, release, handoff, work and list_claims; and update_issue takes blocked_by. Sessions need pull_requests scopes and claims and get_work issues scopes, reads are open to anyone who can read the repository, the reference has an example of each, and the OpenAPI copy and the CLI's table of operations are regenerated.2cdea8fHistory

GitHub's workflow schema
workflow-v1.0.json is GitHub's schema for workflow files, copied unchanged from
actions/languageservices, file
workflow-parser/src/workflow-v1.0.json, at commit
4043eda158e16579cc5fb1b0b07a4bce2a76f0b5 (5 August 2026). It is MIT licensed;
LICENSE is that repository's licence, copied from the same commit.
g1t does not read it at run time. src/syntax.rs lists the keys each part of a
workflow may have, and its tests check those lists against this file, so they
cannot drift from GitHub's. To update it, copy the file again, write the commit
here, and run cargo test -p g1t-actions.
