I added one sentence to the ## Develop section of README.md: "This project uses the Rust 2021 edition." The edition comes from edition = "2021" in Cargo.toml. cargo test passes, though the project has no tests, so that run only confirms it builds.

The issue title says "minimum Rust version", but Cargo.toml has no rust-version field. The sentence therefore names only the edition, as the issue body asks, and doesn't state a minimum compiler version.

I checked the new sentence against Cargo.toml, which has edition = "2021", so the sentence is accurate. The diff touches only README.md, as the issue asks. cargo test passes. It runs 0 tests, so it only confirms the crate builds.

A maintainer may want to know this: the issue title asks for a "minimum Rust version", but Cargo.toml has no rust-version. Edition 2021 does imply rustc 1.56 or newer, so the README could say so. To make that minimum enforced rather than just documented, add rust-version to Cargo.toml in a follow-up. Neither change blocks this PR, since the issue body asks only for the edition.
